Sick Little Girls

Today Kennedie and Brecklyn came over. They have been so very sick but they needed to get out of the house for a bit so they came and visited us. They are such joys!

New Years Night

We had our two beautiful grandkids on New Years Day and they are such angels, just look at those two sweethearts. BUT...
Look what they did to Papa Steve.... They found some stickers and decided to put them all over their papa. They thought putting the stickers on was fun but that was nothing until they started pulling the stickers off, mind you, papa Steve is a very hairy man.... they thought it was so funny when they pulled the stickers off and papa would cry.
Cody got home to pick them up and they wanted to spend the night so all of them stayed over, including Cody. It was great fun!

Christmas Morning

Kitty was the first one to get a present. As you can tell, he was way excited.
Brecklyn loved her new play mat........

Mckail was excited......

A Princess stocking for our little Princess Kennedie....

Ethan of course was having a great time unwrapping his presents. He was done in a few seconds.......

Christmas Eve and Grandma Weez's

Last night we all got together at Grandma and Grandpa LeFevre's. We played games, ate lots of food and had a silent auction which was really fun. I made bank!! When it was time to leave, our grandkids opened up the traditional PJ's to sleep in. Here are Mckail, Brecklyn, Kennedie and Ethan. It was great fun as always. Candice and my mother worked their tails off to make it a great Christmas Eve. Thank you Mom and Candice!

Golfing Trip

We went to Mesquite this weekend for an annual golf tournament. It was the Elks Camp Wapiti tournament. We golfed at Falcon Ridge Friday and Saturday. It was a lot of fun but I was so ready to come home after 4 days in Mesquite. I do not have any pictures but we had a fun team. Me, Steve, Ed and Bob made up our team. We golfed a 67 the first day and 69 the second. Of course not good enough to win any prizes but we did have a great time. Most importantly, it was nice and warm for both days! Now I am looking out of my window at work and there is snow :-( I know we need snow for Christmas but I LOVE warm weather.....

Grandpa reading "The Night Before Christmas"

Steve bought "The Night Before Christmas" a couple of years ago and has wanted to read it to the grandkids but Christmas is so hectic that he has never had the opportunity. Yesterday when we had the two little girls for a few hours (mom and dad on date watching "Twilight"), Steve remembered the book and read it to our beautiful Kennedie Jo. How precious is that!! You are a good Pa Pa Steve!!

Breck and her thumb

Here is a picture of our little thumb sucker. I think it is so adorable to watch Breck sooth herself by sucking her thumb. I love it when she is sucking her thumb, smiling and talking at the same time. I was the only child in my family to suck my thumb and I found out that Steve also sucked his thumb. I just think it is so cute!

Brecklyn's day with Kitty

Kitty has to get to know all of the grandkids. Here is Kitty introducing himself to Brecklyn. He had to sniff her and then he just laid there while Brecklyn pulled his fur and yelled at him. Brecklyn has officially been granted permission from Kitty to hang out at HIS house.....

Sunday I did not leave the house ALL day. It was fantastic to just hang out with my hubby all day and rest. We watched football from 11:00 to 9:00.......... Can't beat that kind of a day!!!!

Quirk Tag

Quirk Tag
I was tagged by Candice...

Rules; 1 Link the person who tagged you. 2 Mention the rules on your blog. 3 Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours. 4 Tag 6 other bloggers by linking them.

I am not going to give away all of my secrets so 6 is too many but here are 4 of my PERSONAL Quirks:

CRUMBS… I absolutely go nuts over crumbs! If there are crumbs on my kitchen cupboard, it just sends me over the EDGE! Just ask Steve………

Okay if this is the time to tell all… I am petrified of bathrooms. Always have been and apparently always will be. Not my bathrooms or bathrooms of friends and family but ALL others!!! I even went to lunch yesterday and had to go to the restroom to wash my hands (oh there is another one), and it was down stairs, had a SHOWER, and was noisy. My heart was racing out of my chest. I kept telling myself how silly I was being but it still did not stop me from being scared to death. I have no idea what I am scared of but I am.

Okay, washing my hands… I don’t think this is too odd but I have to wash my hands or use sanitizer A LOT during the day or I can’t think straight. I WILL NEVER touch a public doorknob; at times I may have too but usually I use my sleeve or a tissue (or I have somebody else open it for me). If my hands are, or feel, dirty or germy, I cannot concentrate on anything else until they are cleaned.

One more and then I am DONE! Brushing my teeth. I probably brush my teeth 10 times a-day. Maybe not always 10 times but at the very least 7 times. Maybe that is not weird but I get a lot of grief from individuals about my compulsion over my teeth.
